Terms & Conditions — Notes Contribution
Please read these terms carefully before uploading or creating any notes on the Khojeswari portal. By creating an account and uploading content you agree to follow the terms below.
- Language of notes
All notes should be prepared in Hindi and English separately. For the Hindi version, technical terms may remain in English if necessary for clarity.
- Format & quality
Notes can be self-handwritten (scanned — not recommended) or typed. Preferred formats are
.docxor.docfor clarity and accessibility. - Copyright ownership
Copyright remains with the creator of the note. The portal does not claim ownership of the submitted content.
- Copyright responsibility
Creators are fully responsible for ensuring their content does not violate third-party copyright. Any copyright disputes are the creator's responsibility.
- Creative Commons & citation
If content is adapted from other sources, it should be used under a compatible license and proper citation/attribution must be provided where required by the original owner.
- Use of diagrams
Wherever possible, include line diagrams to help students understand concepts and practice drawing/analysis themselves.
- Upload & approval
Creators can upload content via the upload page. Uploaded notes will be reviewed and may require admin approval before becoming visible to users.
- File size & length limits
Each note file must be less than 500 KB. Each note must not exceed 20 pages.
- Recommended fonts & sizes
Prefer Kokila (Mangal) font. Recommended sizes: body text 30, headings 32. Side / sub-headings should be bold, colored differently, and font size 30.
- Table of contents
Each note must include a content page (Table of Content or Synopsis) as the first page.
- Topic selection
Notes should be created for topics not already available in the Notes Repository accessible from the home page.
- Classification metadata
Each note must include metadata: Subject, Language, and Author name for which the note has been created.
- Creator name display
The name of the creator must be displayed at the top of note pages.
- Removal on dispute
Notes may be removed if any dispute arises regarding content, ownership, or copyright.
- Policy changes
These terms are subject to change at any time according to the policies of Radiant IT and Database Solutions. Updated terms will be posted on the portal.
- Acceptance at signup
All creators must agree to these terms at the time of Sign-up creation and before uploading content.
Important reminders:
- Scanned handwritten notes often have poor visibility on small screens — typed documents are strongly recommended.
- File size & page limits are enforced to ensure good performance and quick downloads for students on low bandwidth.
- If you want the portal to enforce font/size/format validation automatically, we can add server-side checks during upload — ask me to implement it.
